In two weeks we will have the privilege of opening an exhibition by the acclaimed South African artist Nelson Makamo (b. 1982, lives and works in Johannesburg). Raised in Limpopo, South Africa, Makamo has since become a huge international success. Makasiini Contemporary is proud to be hosting his first solo exhibition in Scandinavia.
Makamo has a history in various media including painting, drawing and print making. During his career, he has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in South Africa, France, Italy, America, Netherlands,The United Kingdom, Germany and Scotland.
